QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CURRICULUM
What training systems does UNIGO currently offer?
UNIGO Primary - Lower Secondary School implements the Intensive English System and the Bilingual System for students from Primary to Lower Secondary levels.
Do students studying at UNIGO need to take extra classes?
At UNIGO, the curriculum and teaching method help students understand the lesson right in the classroom. With an educational approach oriented toward student individualization, teachers will spend time tutoring and supplementing students who are not performing well and time developing and enhancing the skills of good and excellent students.
However, if students wish for further development, external tutoring is at the family's discretion.
Do students have to do homework? What is the amount of homework?
After direct lessons in class at the school, Unians are usually assigned a moderate amount of homework. This homework helps them summarize knowledge, practice the content they have learned, and thus consolidate their skills. The amount of homework and the time dedicated to it depend on the grade level, subject, and the proficiency of the student groups.
How does the school support students with poor academic performance?
Before officially becoming Unians, students are given an entrance test for class placement to ensure there is no significant disparity in proficiency within a class. The teaching staff regularly monitors, tests, assesses, and categorizes student proficiency to offer a suitable path and approach to knowledge acquisition for different student groups in the class. If a student falls behind, the school will arrange additional tutoring outside of class time to support the student.
