The program utilizes textbooks drafted under the 2018 General Education Curriculum as the main materials, combined with the Cambridge Mathematics program for Mathematics to comprehensively develop mathematical thinking, and the Canh Buom teaching methodology for Literature; the Global Success textbook series combined with IELTS preparation materials and communicative approach teaching methods, aiming for students to achieve an IELTS 4.5 exit benchmark corresponding to B1 level at the end of middle school for English.
The goal of the Middle School academic program at Unigo College is to build autonomous, responsible individuals with age-appropriate rich souls, helping students master general knowledge and apply learned knowledge and skills into daily life.
The Unigo College Middle School program ensures the required standards for 05 qualities and 10 competencies according to the 2018 Master General Education Curriculum. Particular emphasis is placed on autonomy and self-reliance capacity, communication and collaboration capacity, problem-solving and creativity capacity; specialized competencies: language capacity (both English and Vietnamese), mathematical capacity, aesthetic capacity, and physical health.
The Middle School education program is part of the basic education stage of the general education curriculum, covering Grades 6 to 9.

- Subjects under the 2018 General Education Curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training: Literature, Mathematics, English, Citizenship Education, History and Geography, Natural Sciences, Technology, Informatics, Physical Education, Art (Music, Fine Arts).
- Career-oriented educational activities: Experiential activities and career guidance.
- Educational activities under school and local curricula: Intensive Literature: Reading activities, Language thinking (Vietnamese), Artistic thinking; Intensive Mathematics: Mathematical thinking; Intensive English: Language thinking (English); local educational activities.
Educational Duration
Total duration for students' activities and studying at school, including actual study weeks, academic events, field trips, and orientation: 40 weeks/year, studying 5 days a week; each school day consists of 2 sessions including 9 periods; each class period lasts 45 minutes.
Intensive program with 16 periods/week for Mathematics, Literature, and English:
- Mathematics: Intensive 4 periods/week.
- Literature: Intensive 4.5 – 5 periods/week depending on the grade level.
- English: Intensive 7 periods/week.

- Students study thoroughly and master subjects, especially the 3 core subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and English.
- Monthly periodic assessment tests.
- Mock 10th-grade entrance exams designed for 8th and 9th-grade students to get familiarized and gain experience.
- Specialized revision modules in Mathematics, Literature, and English to prepare for the 10th-grade entrance examination integrated into the mainstream 9th-grade curriculum.

- Students participate in brainstorming ideas and organizing school events and programs through projects and study topics.
