The primary education program aims to build children's self-learning capacity by equipping them with learning methods that unleash personal potential and talents, with a focus on developing foundational learning mindsets (linguistic thinking, mathematical thinking, scientific thinking). It forms the 21st-century skill set (4Cs): Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication.
Students are provided with an open learning environment that fosters a passion for learning, trains learning methods, and enables them to know how to self-learn and actively pursue lifelong learning.
The Primary Education program is part of the basic education stage of the general education curriculum, covering Grades 1 to 5.
Educational Content Taught according to the framework program of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), while specially designed for Unigo students; English is taught according to the standard Cambridge curriculum.
The School is currently teaching two tracks: Bilingual and Intensive English.
- Total English periods: 10 periods/week, students study with 60% foreign teachers - 40% Vietnamese teachers. Curriculum: Family and Friends
- Total English periods: 16 - 18 periods/week.
- With 60% foreign teachers following the standard Cambridge curriculum.
- 3 subjects taught in English as follows: English Language (Global English) 12 periods, Mathematics (Maths) 4 periods/week, and Science 3 periods/week.
- Standard Cambridge curriculum
Educational Duration Total duration for students' activities and studying at school, including actual study weeks, academic events, field trips, and orientation: 40 weeks/year, studying 5 days a week; each school day consists of 2 sessions including 8 periods; each class period lasts 35 minutes.
