The Opening Ceremony for the 2026–2027 academic year was held simultaneously across Vietnam in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. The central event took place at Muong Khuong Boarding School in Lao Cai Province.
During the nationwide ceremony, educational institutions across the country performed the flag-salute ceremony, sang the National Anthem, and welcomed the new academic year with the traditional school drumbeat. These shared moments created a special connection among millions of students on the first day of the new academic year.

More than marking the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, the drumbeat opened a new journey filled with goals, experiences, and opportunities for every student to discover their potential.
From early morning, the UNIGO COLLEGE campus was filled with excitement. Dressed proudly in their school uniforms, the Unians were delighted to reunite with their teachers and friends while capturing their first memorable moments of the new academic year.
The ceremony took place in a formal yet warm atmosphere, featuring welcome performances, inspiring messages for the year ahead, the traditional opening ceremony, and a variety of meaningful classroom activities.
The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, valued partners, and parents. Together with the dedicated preparations of UNIGO COLLEGE’s teachers and staff, their presence contributed to a memorable opening day filled with joy, connection, and positive energy for every student returning to school.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, Vietnam’s education sector has adopted the theme “Renewed Thinking - Strong Transformation - Tangible Results” In alignment with this direction, UNIGO COLLEGE has chosen “TAKE INITIATIVE - CREATE BREAKTHROUGHS” as its guiding theme throughout the academic year.
More than a message, the theme represents a shared commitment across the UNIGO community: to embrace new ways of thinking, take on challenges with confidence, persevere beyond limitations, and turn goals into tangible results.
For every student, this spirit begins with everyday actions: taking responsibility for their learning, expressing ideas confidently, actively exploring new knowledge, and embracing challenges. Every step forward, no matter how small, can become the beginning of positive change.

The new academic year marks several important developments in UNIGO COLLEGE’s journey to enhance educational quality and broaden students’ learning experiences.
Among the key highlights is the official introduction of Robotics and Chinese into the curriculum. Through Robotics, students gain access to technology through hands-on activities involving construction, observation, and discovery. Chinese helps expand their language capabilities and provides an additional foundation for students to adapt confidently to an increasingly connected and globally oriented learning environment.
In addition, UNIGO COLLEGE continues to professionalize its system of more than 25 clubs across four areas: Academics, Arts, Sports, and Creative Technology. These clubs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop their strengths, nurture their passions, and build essential skills for the future.
Ahead lie new lessons, new friendships, memorable experiences, and challenges for the Unians to embrace. Throughout this journey, UNIGO COLLEGE will continue to support every student in becoming more confident, resilient, and proactive in creating meaningful progress of their own.
