Every child has unique strengths, interests and ways of discovering the world. Some are fascinated by music, while others are drawn to sports or art. For 5-year-olds, this is also an important stage to develop the confidence, skills and mindset needed for the transition to primary school.
Beyond the regular curriculum and daily classroom activities, diverse learning experiences give children more opportunities to explore, discover what they enjoy and gradually unlock their individual potential.
For the 2026–2027 school year, the UNIGO Preschool Club System features six clubs across different areas of development, designed to meet the needs and developmental stages of young learners.
More than simply providing additional learning activities beyond the regular curriculum, the clubs at UNIGO Preschool create engaging environments where children learn through hands-on experiences, movement, interaction and creativity.
Through age-appropriate activities, children have opportunities to develop a wide range of essential competencies, including thinking, language, communication, physical development, creativity, teamwork, confidence and independence.
For 5-year-olds in particular, the Pre-School Clubs support children during the important transition to primary school, helping them build foundational skills, thinking abilities and the confidence to begin Grade 1.
In the 2026–2027 school year, UNIGO Preschool offers six clubs:
- Pre-School 1 – Skills Development
- Pre-School 2 – Thinking Development
- Music Appreciation Club
- Aquaclub Swim Team
- Basketball Academy
- Art Club
For 5-year-olds
Before entering Grade 1, children need more than academic preparation. Confidence, independence and essential life skills are equally important in helping them adapt to a new learning environment.
Pre-School 1 – Skills Development provides a safe and supportive environment where children can play, interact and learn through age-appropriate experiential activities.
Through each activity, children have opportunities to develop communication, physical and creative skills, strengthen their ability to interact with peers and become more confident in expressing themselves.
These experiences provide an important foundation for children to become more independent, proactive and confident as they prepare for the transition to primary school.

For 5-year-olds
While Pre-School 1 focuses on essential skills, Pre-School 2 – Thinking Development helps children build the foundational learning abilities and mindset needed to confidently prepare for Grade 1.
Through the club, children gradually become familiar with primary school routines and learning environments. They develop age-appropriate pre-reading, pre-writing and early numeracy skills, while also strengthening concentration, thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Important skills such as communication, teamwork, self-care and independence are also integrated into the activities, helping children develop a positive, confident and proactive mindset as they approach their first major educational transition.

For children aged 4–6
Music is one of the most natural ways for young children to experience the world, express their emotions and develop their ability to communicate.
At the Music Appreciation Club, children explore the world of sound through engaging activities such as discovering rhythm and tempo, singing, moving to music and playing simple percussion instruments.
Through these experiences, children gradually develop their sense of rhythm, become more confident in singing and moving to music, and learn how to use simple percussion instruments to accompany songs.
Beyond developing musical appreciation, club activities also strengthen concentration, coordination and teamwork while encouraging children to become more confident when expressing themselves and performing in front of others.

For 5-year-olds
Swimming is not only an excellent sport for improving children's physical health but also an essential life skill that can help keep them safe around water.
At the Aquaclub Swim Team, children gradually develop basic swimming skills, water survival skills and greater awareness of drowning prevention and water safety.
Regular swimming activities also support physical development, improve overall fitness and encourage children to develop healthy exercise habits from an early age.
The club also provides opportunities to identify children with a particular interest or talent in swimming, allowing them to further develop their abilities and participate in suitable school sports activities in the future.

For 5-year-olds
For children who love movement and physical activity, Basketball Academy provides an energetic environment where they can take their first steps into the exciting world of basketball.
Through regular practice, children gradually learn fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, catching, shooting and coordinated movement. These activities also help improve agility, coordination, endurance and reaction speed.
Basketball offers benefits beyond physical development. Children learn to follow rules, cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
With every training session, they have more opportunities to build confidence, self-discipline and teamwork skills – valuable qualities that can support them both at school and in everyday life.
For 5-year-olds
Every drawing, colour and creative work can become a way for children to tell their own stories and express how they see the world.
With a child-centred approach that emphasises hands-on learning and creative experiences, the Art Club at UNIGO Preschool provides a space where children can freely explore their imagination, develop a love for art and strengthen their aesthetic awareness and practical art skills.
Through a variety of creative activities, children also have opportunities to develop patience, teamwork and environmental awareness.
The club also helps identify and nurture children with artistic potential, giving them opportunities to further develop their abilities and participate in suitable school competitions, exhibitions and creative activities.

Every child has different strengths, interests and developmental needs. The true value of joining a club is therefore not about becoming an expert in a particular activity after just one course. Instead, it lies in giving children the opportunity to try something new, discover what they enjoy and learn more about themselves.
Through the diverse club system at UNIGO Preschool, children can:
- Discover their interests and individual strengths across different areas.
- Develop physical fitness and motor skills through swimming, basketball and experiential activities.
- Strengthen thinking, concentration and foundational learning skills, particularly during the transition to Grade 1.
- Nurture creativity and artistic appreciation through music and art.
- Develop communication, teamwork, independence and confidence through learning and interacting with peers.
- Enjoy more diverse and positive experiences throughout their learning journey at UNIGO Preschool.
Every child carries unique potential within them. When given the right environment and opportunities to explore, that potential can gradually be discovered, nurtured and developed.
